From the first moments after you join us on board our safe, comfortable vessel, you'll notice
the Peregrine difference. At Peregrine we don’t invite you to simply see the Arctic, we invite
you to truly experience it in all its grandeur.
Our vessels, the Peregrine Mariner/Akademik Ioffe and
Voyager/Akademik Sergey Vavilov are ice-rated research vessels. The atmosphere
aboard is relaxed and informal. Both ships have excellent viewing areas for spotting whales, seabirds, and the
spectacular icebergs.
You have the opportunity to join many shore excursions or to cruise through dramatic fjords fed by glaciers calving
massive icebergs with astonishing frequency. Our ships have capacity for 100 passengers, but on many excursions you will
join groups as small as 12-15 people. Whether it's photography, wildlife-viewing, walking, kayaking, or exploring in our
Zodiacs; you will experience the Arctic the way you want it and can be as adventurous as you wish. Our staff will always
be on hand to assist.
