Ahmed Lotfy (Egypt)
Known to his friends and clients as ‘Teefa’, Ahmed Lotfy was born and grew up in Cairo. After graduating with a degree in archaeology in the field of Egyptology, Ahmed joined Peregrine as a tour leader. His knowledge, enthusiasm, experience, resourcefulness and flexibility are what makes him an excellent leader.
Qualifications:
Ahmed completed a degree in Archaeology.
Achievements:
He was voted Tour Leader of the Year in 2000 and in 2002, and says he loves his work because it gives him the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world and from all walks of life.
Yasser Ahmed (Egypt)
Yasser Ahmed graduated from Helwan University in Cairo in 1988, but a run of the mill job was not his idea of fun. Instead he studied tourism for a year. He has been working in tourism ever since and is one of the Peregrine's "originals", having been with us since day one of our Middle East program. Without exception, every report we get back from Yasser is exceptional - confirming that he is a real asset to Peregrine Adventures.
Qualifications:
He studied Tourism at the American University in Cairo.
Achievements:
He has been a tour leader for 11 years, and is considered an expert in Egyptology and knows everything there is to know about the local flora and fauna.
